Geological Information
Crackle Quartz is formed by heating clear quartz crystals to a high temperature and then quickly cooling them.
The heating process causes the internal structure of the crystal to expand, while the rapid cooling causes the crystal to contract, resulting in internal cracks and fissures.

It is also known as Fire and Ice Quartz.
